The client required J.P.L to rotate an off shore bridge link 180º and then move it to the quay edge for loading out. J.P.L used two separate single width six axle-line self-propelled modular transporters (SPMT) for the project. The inherent maneuverability of this equipment was a key factor in the ease with which the rotation was achieved.
